When we opened our doors in 1980, Family Guidance Centers was the first private mental health group practice in Chesterfield County. From the very beginning, we were embraced by the Chesterfield Community Mental Health Center, local physicians, schools, and the community at large.
For more than 45 years, we have remained a trusted source of compassionate, high-quality psychological care. What began as one pioneering practice has grown into an award-winning organization with eight convenient locations throughout the Richmond and Tidewater area. While we have grown, our commitment to providing exceptional care and serving individuals, families, and our community remains at the heart of everything we do.
